KENNETH SUFFERS ACL INJURY

7 January 2013

Defender up for up to 9 months

Rovers have just received confirmation that Garry Kenneth damaged his anterior cruciate ligament during Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Gillingham.

The defender saw the specialist this morning, who confirmed the worst. Garry will now have an operation on Friday, and will be out for up to nine months.

This comes as another massive blow to the club, and we all wish Garry a very speedy recovery.

John Ward confirmed early today that he would have to consider bringing in another defender if Garry was set to be out for a long period.

Left back Jim Paterson will train with the side tomorrow, and the club are also hopeful that Joe Anyinsah will be available on Saturday.
