Academy

Below will be the latest news and updates from the Club's Academy - ranging from information for parents and match reports.

Bristol Rovers F.C Academy have a history of producing home-grown players, going onto to play in the famous blue and white quarters.

We aim to create an environment where our young players can express themselves, believe that they can play at the highest possible level, and as a staff we are committed to helping them on that journey.

The pathway to the first team is evident for our young players, our job is to nurture their skills and to give them the belief and support to achieve their goals. We have hard working fans and we expect hard working staff and players to represent this football club.

We want every individual who walks through the door to reach their full potential on and off the field of play, as a player and as a person. We are committed to a philosophy that drives the development of young, home-grown players.'

Byron Anthony

Academy Manager

Bristol Rovers strive to provide a program that focuses on the development of the person as well as the player.

Our coaches are committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment based on honest hard-working values where we will challenge players to understand the game, make excellent decisions and be the best person they can be with a passion for improvement, a winning mentality, and a strong mindset. Our aspiration is that at whatever stage a player leaves the Academy programme they will have found the experience beneficial to their development as people as well as players. We have a duty to develop and support players by ensuring a balance between their footballing development, their education and personal development.
