Dear Gasheads,

Kindly accept our most sincere apologies for the delays we have faced with the launch and availability of the new season playing kits - particularly the junior kits. 

There have been a lot of changes at the club over the last 6 months, from ownership and management to stadium upgrades, sponsors and most pertinently, our official kit supplier.

The decision to change our long term kit supplier of 11 years was not taken lightly and after consultations with various fans and other stakeholders at the club, it was agreed a fresh start was needed and that Macron provided the best short and long term solution.

Due to the timing of the change in kit supplier, we faced a significant challenge in delivering the kit on time for the start of the new season and for that we strongly commend Macron.

In a very short period of time, they have designed and produced new home and away kits, training gear, travel wear and a range of leisurewear for players and fans alike, and delivered the vast majority of those items in record time, ensuring our players were able to run out onto the pitch for our first game of the season in the correct kit.

Unfortunately, whilst we have succeeded in having our club represented appropriately on the pitch, we have not been so fortunate in providing our fans - particularly our young fans - the opportunity to replicate that off the pitch, and for that we are truly apologetic.

While a range of official team kit is currently available in the club shop, the full range of items for young and older fans alike will be arriving in large quantities by mid-September.

We regret that we can do nothing to expedite delivery sooner, and apologise unreservedly for disappointing so many young fans.

As a small sign of our appreciation for their dedicated support, we will shortly be announcing a special back to school package for all pre-orders of the junior kit, which young fans will be able to order online or collect from the club shop as of August 22nd.

We are confident that once the junior kits arrive in mid-September, we will face no more issues with regards official kit supplies and to ensure this situation is not repeated again, planning for next season's kit designs - with the involvement of the club's fans - will commence in October.
